I do mostly custom sawing. I saw customers logs into lumber. I still do some "away" jobs, where I go to the logs, but a majority of my business is here on the farm.
Customers bring their logs to me and I cut them into lumber according to their specifications.
Many customers have me kiln dry their lumber in a Nyle dehumidification kiln with temperature and humidity controls. The lumber is then ready to be used for cabinetry, flooring or other wood projects.
Further processing available includes: S2S, S4S, tongue and groove, flooring with tongue and groove and reliefs, shiplap, baseboard, shoe, trim, etc. Processing is done on a modern 6 head moulder in order to hold tolerances to the thousands of an inch. Your flooring lays much smoother when it is uniform.
Your hardwood logs can be turned into beautiful hardwood flooring for about $2.00/Sqft.
