you can see how the individual 5/16 " lines are
connected to the main line. A six-way manifold has six
hose barbs on it for up to six lines; any barbs not
needed are sealed with a cap. |

The
mainlines enter the sugar shack, as shown at the far left
side of this picture. The sap is pumped through an
ultraviolet purification system and then through a
filter, after which it is piped to a storage tank. |

the sugar shack that are used for sap storage. |
